The Children's Cancer Research Group (CCRG) at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital was born as a result of the efforts of a committed group of parents of children stricken with cancer.

Formed in 2003 by parent volunteers and Dr. Tebbi, we aim to promote awareness, prevention and cures for childhood cancer.

Thanks to our fabulous Krewe of Zinagaro along with the Tampa Club (host of Uncork the Cure) proceeds from THIS Friday night’s Gasparilla First Friday will be donated to us!!

Come for the live music, half price drinks and complimentary gourmet bites, and stay for the camaraderie and First Friday food and drink specials.   January’s extra special First Friday features club member Bill Nipper and his Krewe of Zingaro gang, back to back winners of the annual Steve Otto chili championship.   They’ll spend the day cooking up their award winning chili in the Tampa Club kitchen, then will serve it to you in a cup or bowl, with the proceeds going to the Children’s Cancer Research Group.   Join us for charity chili!  Bill promises to bring the trophy, and Ray Gurka provides live entertainment.   Bring friends!
